One quart properly mixed should be enough for five wheels. If you have six wheels, it would be best to use a light-colored primer, like light-grey instead red oxide. Red is more difficult to completely cover if you are running low on paint. Bare spots will be more noticeable if you use red oxide primer. For a really deep shine and to impart additional protection, spray a catalyzed clear coat while the single stage Cream is still tacky.
I have painted several sets of 19" wheels Tacoma Cream using PPG's Concept paint. It covers very well so that it is not necessary to apply several layers of color, as is needed with most water-based paints these days. Concept is now defunct because it was too good and lasted too long, but maybe a local paint supplier has enough left-over Concept paints so that he/she/it can mix a quart of Tacoma Cream. Attached is the PPG formula for Tacoma Cream, should you need it for mixing or for cross-referencing.
