What's this stuff worth?

What are these parts worth, and will they work on a 59 block or 81a flathead?
Thanks again!

They will work on 39-48 engines.Heads look like they need some TLC. Navarro intake probably most valuable of the bunch.Probably $1K retail for all.

I would want a look at the other side of the heads... Corrosion in used aluminum heads can render them worthless in a hurry- to someone looking to buy. You may be able to run them and consider nothing lost but the time and gaskets...

The intake is nice, the carbs are too if they are not badly treated. I would not run the one without the choke installed. For prices, I would look at the people reproducing the Navaro intake... And the internet.

I think your parts will work on any 24 stud engine, 59ab and 81a easy, with 8ba you'ld have some holes to plug.

Yes, lets look at the combustion chambers and head surfaces. Most can be fixed, but that lowers the value.

Either combo should work with some work. BTW the carb linkage is on the correct side of the carb. Best way to hook them together is drivers side. ken ct OMO,

Thanks guys, sounds like good advice. I'm going to try and get a look at the other side of the heads.

The heads look pretty good to me (the novice). Any glaring problems?
Thanks again.

The head in picture 3, also seen at bottom of picture 2 in the first post had the hose stub damaged at some point. You can see that it was milled flat and two holes drilled and tapped for a water neck. I'll have to ask someone my senior because I never saw that done before- is there a particular neck that would fit? Other than that, to me it just looks like a good cleaning is all they need.

Yeh, I noticed that but didn't know if it was normal or not. Thanks for the comments.

I'm thinking it would be relatively simple to fabricate a new neck from a piece of plate and a short length of tubing.

Mart.
