I have a transmission with a stamped number that Iwould like to iidentify what year or where it might be from. Any help would be appreciated. The marking is: "" H5491"" Thanks for looking . Kerk

If that trans looks like a Ford transmission It could be a 1936 Lincoln Zephyr trans. Lincoln VIN started with "H" and a four digit number would be early 1936. In 1936 37 Lincolns used the Ford transmission.

Thanks for the replys, It looks like several other Ford Transmissions I have so again Thank sfor the replys and info..Kerk
