What would Henry think?

After replacing the entire windshield and frame on my 29 RPU, I really didn't want to use the clamp on original style rear view mirror because it continually scratches the frame and affects the soft top fit somewhat. So I came up with what you see in the photo, my old iPhone 4 mounted to the windshield with a suction cup. I leave it on in camera mode using the screen side view. It lasts for hours and does the job quite nicely.

Neccessity is the mother of invention or absolute horror show? You can all be brutal, I can take it! Would Henry hit me with a stick?

I didn't check either one, I'm not sure what Henry would say. That being said, I think it is an ingenious idea. It actually does two things: it functions as a rear view mirror and it is a car phone.

I think that young Henry would have embraced the iPhone as Rear view mirror. Perhaps older Henry wouldn't have viewed it so kindly.
