What State

Hey Hoop,
Isn't everyone who asks a question here asking for a form of help?
The point is if someone knows approx. where the question asker resides, he may point them to a person, machine shop etc. that may be able to help them. It doesn't mean they are going to jump in their car and immediately drive to the questioners house.
As you note, there are plenty of people who don't belong in a club.

Exactly the same point I have tried to make in many cases here. I guess those who don't really try to help folks here that often, or at all, don't realize this :)

CSArno,
The 1st time I was through DF was mid 50's and I don't recall seeing you. I may have seen your pickup though with slightly less cancer. Family bounced around the area in the 1880's and managed to get a Landing named after them at Schoodic Lake. However all left by following RR work into MA by 1920. Beautiful part of the country.

And I'm the other Gary in WA. Also on an Island. Any of you that happen to get over here can look me up. I live out in the woods 12 miles from town and always welcome old Ford lovers here at 'Jailbar Ranch' on the slopes of Mt. Pickett. I'm in the book under Mt. Pickett Woodworking.

My father would have 9 in 1950. Ha-ha. Would that be Knights landing at Schoodic in Lake View Plantation?

Stop in on your way to Tulsa, we can have a coffee together.

fortyfords, I just saw your post here and think it would be a great idea to stop and have a chat over a cup of coffee with you while on my way to Tulsa this coming June. Always enjoy meeting and talking to other Ford V8er's and getting to see their cars as well. Are you also planning to attend the EFV-8 Club's 2016 CNM in Tulsa?
Maybe sometime before June you could pm or email me your address, and I will add this stop to my plans and log it into my GPS.
