What size rotor?

Specific to a “Mustang ll” front end, I don’t know. The rotor I spec’d for the front of my ‘48 is 11.5 by about 0.80” or so. Rims are 15” from Wheelsmith.

Bad advice Lawson. "Mustang II" is a serious "no-no" over there.

To the O/P : Try a street rod site.

I tried a 12", but didn't fit. I am thinking 11" I have American Racing Wheels 15x7"

Granada 11" rotors bolt right on to the stock M11 spindles, but you have to upgrade the calipers to later Ford or GM, as I have never seen brackets that allow the stock M11 calipers with larger rotors. The Ford style 15" wheels will clear either later Ford or GM calipers with the Granada rotors on my '40 with the M11 suspension.

I know some on here are against discussions about later modifications to our early Fords, but the HAMB has a '65 cutoff so anything related to Mustang is not tolerated and usually removed. Where else would you go to find info about early Ford modifications using later brake upgrades?

"HOTRODDERS.COM" for one. Google lists many others.

(I only know this as I was trying to get information on my condensers out there.)

You're right. My bad.
I guess I'm sensitive to safety related items like brakes, and would rather discuss options vs discourage upgrades.

I totally agree with you about safety items. I just didn't want the O/P go to the H.A.M.B. expecting positive results and getting slammed (it sometimes happens).
