Temperature change throughout the driving year should dictate multigrade or straight weight.

Have always used detergent oil. Not sure why they still produce ND oil, maybe for air compressors....

one of the reasons they still make non detergant oil. is becauase some engines willl foam up detergant oil. I think it is caused by engines where the crank dips in the oil. My dad has a 1957 john deere and claims it will foam with detergant
