This is a Vaporizer Carb for '26/'27 models. The riveted nameplate may say Holley, Ford Vaporizer, or Ford Plate Vaporizer. I am not sure if Kingston made one or not. Nice photo.

Just found a picture of the Kingston regenerator. Similar, but slightly different design to the intake and exhaust manifolds than the one pictured.

3 have sold on ebay within the last 2 weeks for less than your $40 number. An "Australian version" was just listed there, is it this one?

There was a Simmons vaporizer that is very similar to the Holly version. It had a handle to change the heating plate for winter vs. summer driving. This one is a holly. Some folks like them, some hate them. When they run good they run very well but are prone to air leaks due to all the joints and possibly burning a hole in the vapor heat plate.

Ive driven a lot of each and unless you were to change the manifolds and compare on a single car, you wouldn't tell the difference. "It runs like a model T" They were notorious for a few weak points tho... the tin vaporizing plate on the inside can rust out over the winter and you'll be dead in the water, or burn through while driving with a baddd loss of power, then the packing nut below the air horn can leak making for a hard start/lean run. Ive also seen several that had the needle cranked in tight and scored the seat from trying to lean out the rich burning fried internal plate problem. One main jet actually had the orifice soldered and redrilled way smaller for the same correction.
If you really need it, Id pay $25 for it with GOOD exhaust threads. A wall hanger needs a few #10 X 6 inch wood screws into the studs LOL... ws
