What is this hole for?

This is a pic of the inside of my 36' pick up above the windshield. Can anyone tell me what the big hole in the center is for? I bought this project in pieces (mostly in boxes) so I'm tryin' to figure out where everything goes and what's missing. Thanks

Not sure what hole is for. It is not stock. someone added it to put some accessory in or something.

yup my truck don't have that hole also, i wonder if it was for a speeker?

Might be for a fan...someone mounted an aftermarket electric fan to the header of my '36 pickup and the holes look similar, just on my truck it was mounted in the driver's side corner.
