A friend of the family, knowing that we collect cars and transportation related items gave this to us indicating it was her grandfathers. Not knowing what it is we have had other "car people" suggest that it is a battery charger, a coil energizer, a magneto re-charger, etc. One thing all of the folks had in common was when asked would they like to plug it in, it was a unanimous NO! Gosh, where have all the fun people gone?
