What hoods will fit?

I have a '55 customline with a hood that's badly damaged. What other models and years will fit my vehicle?

1955 & 1956 can Interchange.

The '56 hood will fit but you need to use the front latch mechanism off the '55 hood. The hood ornament on the '56 is recessed into the hood, so probably just keep it unless you want to do some metalworking/welding. Also the '56 hood does not have the holes for the trim piece at the very front of the hood.

Ok, so only hoods from a 1955 or 56 customline will fit? No mainline, crestline, crown vic or anything like that will work? I'm just having a hard time finding anything in this area.

All model hoods should fit.

All '55 hoods will fit. The '56 hood has a cut out for the ornament that the '55 does not have.
