I am thinking it is a trunk/rumble seat for a 30/31 another member says door for maybe a cabriolet? Either way it is going in the for sale section.

Thanks,

Mike

See page 15-13 of the Judging Standards. Cabriolet 1 1/4" shaft 1929 early 1930, 2" shaft Mid 1930-1931.

The scroll type door handle has the two screw escutcheon piece to retain them to the doors. The Cabbies only had the rumble lid that used the scroll type and it has the round escutcheon with the retainer nut inside the car. Scroll type door handles were only used on the high end cars made by the subcontractors for Fordor, Cabriolet, A400, and Victoria bodies.

The threads for the nut are visible on the handle in question.

1930 Cabriolet rumble handle with the oval speedo. the later ones with the round speedo had the removeable lock.
