What do these go to?

OK, I have been told these are fender emblems for 54-56 cars. Fine, I looked them up on eBay just out of curiosity and the found a few, but the back is different. Those show a stud on each arm of the V. But mine has just the one and a marker stud. Just curious.

I don’t know all the variations, but that’s the y block symbol. So it’s got to be one of those. Early, late, car, truck, maybe even a heavy truck if they were different. Clever you spotted a difference.

It's the V8 symbol for the glove box door on mid-50's Fords.

Forgot about those. I shaved the dash when I redid it 20 years ago. So much for my memory.

How wide are they? The '54 dash emblem is an inch wide. The fender emblems are three inches wide.

There is a version you see on 58 Fords. On the glovebox. I never seen one stock on a 57. But they are cool and nice.
