I just brought home a 1931 Briggs 4 door Sedan, my question is how do we tell if in is a S/W Fordor or a S/W Town Sedan ?

A Town Sedan to my knowledge will have a folding arm rest on the rear seat and a robe cord attached to the back of the front seat.

Also a Town Sedan will have the interior light over the rear window. Be careful with the lens and bezel, they are not reproduced today. Also, The TS will have cowl lights and the garnish mouldings will have faux wood grain.

The slant windshield Town Sedan dropped the center folding arm rest. The back of the front seat will have a large pocket. I have one, but no pictures.

160 A is a standard fordoor. It has the plain brown checked upholstery, round plain dome light over the front seat back, painted dash and garnish moldings. The 160 B is a town Sedan with mohair, rear oval dome light, woodgrain dash and garnish. The 160 C has blind corners.
