made by EA Labs in Brooklyn. mounting holes are 4.75" o.c.

it's similar to a Model A electric wiper motor, but has no on-off switch shaft.

I put the pictures on the AACA web site "what is it" page and they told me to ask the EV8 guys.

is this a V8 wiper motor?

Have you tried to "Google" the manufacturer? That might be the best way to identify the part.

That looks just like the one on my 29 model a coupe. I have a seperate switch on the dash to operate it, no shaft on mine either.

EA Labs made those wiper motors for many years as replacements for cars that used the external wipers. My old 29 sport coupe has one of those.
