What Colors are these??

I only saw 1 picture (short of signing up)
...just a guess, but it looks like someone's version of copra & chicle drab.

Bill, why don't you download both pictures and post them here so people can reference them later on.

I too only saw the one picture which I have posted. I think those are actually supposed to be Arabian Sands Light and Copra Drab trim which are 1928 colors. It is supposed to have a French Gray pinstripe.

Hi Brent,

I thought maybe it was Arabian Sand light too, but after looking at the link posted by ken, I'm thinking maybe Chicle drab with copra drab belt? I'll post both pictures again. On one photo, the belt looks very brown (which I like).

Bill, while you may be correct, I personally feel either the picture is altering the true colors --or it was a poor color match. Nevertheless, Copra & Chicle together was not available as a combination in 1928. And, if you have ever seen these two colors (Chicle & A. Sands Lt.) together, I think you would feel that car's color is leaning more to the A. Sands Lt. instead of Chicle, and there is not enough brown on the belt mouldings in my opinion to be Copra. Bottom line is it is your car and you should paint it so you are happy.

One thing we often do is a spray-out on a large panel so the customer can actually see the two colors together and determine if they actually like them together. I always suggest they do not rely on pictures as they can be REAL deceiving at times!!
