What are these step brackets??

These were found in a barn about 30 years ago and I saved them from the scrap pile. What are they?? Are they T? Are they just random carriage brackets?

They're not T. Maybe good for a speedster. Look more like carriage steps than anything Else.

Most likely they are for a horse drawn buggy of some type.

I agree with the carriage/buggy application. Some of the very early autos used step plates and most, not all, had an identifying logo or casting number on them. Without any ID marks it is very hard to pinpoint what you have. Thanks for saving them from the scrapman. Someone may be able to identify and use them. Good luck.
