What are these 'running boards' for?

SOLID thick cast aluminum. Ford script. I tried to find out years ago with no luck.

All running boards for Model T were I thought steel.
I'd like to learn otherwise if aluminum ones existed.

Would be relatively easy to sand cast a set using original steel T boards as the pattern. If they are a lot thicker, which would be necessary, perhaps a layer of plywood or other material was bonded to the 'pattern' prior to the casting process. You may have the product of an early reproduction parts business or some 'one off' pieces.

1913-1925 model T

Thanks. I found one tucked in a shed on our place and am using it for garage art. I wondered what year Ford it might have come from. Its definitely steel and in decent condition considering its 90+ years old.
