Well it's been a long time coming but I got to here the old girl pur today. She fired right up. Put A timming light on and made a couple adjustments, and she sounds great. A couple more things to button up,some wiring and bleed the brakes again and maybe I can take her for a short ride. I know there will be some bug's to work out. I want to thank everyone for input. I know I've had some dumb questions and I'm sure there will be more, just warning you. Jim

I love the patina on the old truck. I would leave it as is. It will draw much more attention without a re-paint.

lookin good. Them be reds headers? That runs as good as it looks you gotta be a happy truck driven man

nice looking original 8ba....looks like an original color....mine will be close to that color for my 51 merc engine...looks great!

in the forth photo, what is that odd looking contraption behind the fan, with the fan belt attached to it?

Man, That truck looks better every time you post. I'm just about at the same place as yours, if i could post a pic. Ken
