wet weather driving

After doing some trans repairs on my 28ccpu, I decided to go down to the shop and get some oil and filter to change the engine.
Left home in the fine weather, but got caught in a big rain storm on the way home,at the roundabout there was a big diesel or oil spill and man was it so VERY slippery, I used a light finger touch on the steering, but still slivered all over the place.
the oil or what ever it was must have got on the tyres as its was real loose all the way home.
I sure needed a coffee when I got home.

That's several times what we got for the whole of last month. Our resident roos are roaming further at night to find a green pick on someone's "lawn"
