Western Auto Marvel Carb fuel inlet thread

Bought a backup Marvel for GO, but the threads that fit the ZenithSHOW and Leaky Tilly are too large to fit Marvel. Sugestion besides fixing the Tilly?

My memory is that the Marvel has a pipe thread at the fuel inlet. Try to find the special brass fitting that came with the Marvel. It adapts the pipe thread to the usual Model A fuel line. Like yours, these fittings are often lost, and a replacement is not easy to find except on another used Marvel body.

I just went thru this with a friend. We made a seperate fuel line to use with the Marvel Carb. Stock Ford Fitting on the upper end and a compression (ferrel) fitting on the other with 1/8 pipe threads that fit the Marvel Carb.

Thats how we solved the problem.
