Weird Popout Switch

I have a weird popout switch in my collection of stuff. It looks exactly like what you would use on a Model A, except, the bracket that goes under a head stud is a molded aluminum or pot metal bracket too thick to fit under the head stud. If I used a longer head stud this popout could be used on a Model A, but the molded bracket looks incorrect. Does anybody know what this popout is from/for?

Oh, I better keep this then. My son is getting a ‘29 Business Coupe from his Grandpa—it will be perfect for that. Thank you!

1928 & 29 units were different than 1930 & 31. Different housings and cables with a length difference. There were more different clamps during production so approximate date needed is important. Electro-Loc also made them for other manufacturers. The MAFCA Restorer series of books has a volume with a lot of info on them.

Service Bulletins page 213 Fig. 441 shows the so called "banana end" version of the armored cable. The banana had a loop which fit under the long stud. A role later taken by the Snyders clamp above.
