Weaver Auto Crane value???

I've been on the hunt for a crane, came across a few Manley setups and seeing more Weavers than anything else.

How does one determine a value for a rusty but complete crane?


Just trying to make sure I don't get screwed being naive on this subject. Thanks for the valued inputs in advance.

Most of the Weaver cranes I've seen.....Rusty,needs parts $300 , Fair condition $1,000-$1,500 needs paint.
Restored $3,000

Thanks for the info. There are a wide range of asking prices that don't necessarily determine the value, as with anything it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. Thanks again.

Just picked up what I think is a Weaver Model G - 3 ton. Currently has cable on the drum but I'm going to try and find a some chain hardware. Looks to be nearly complete with the crank handle
