HELP. I have a rebuilt 53 Ford Flathead with a Mallory Unilite Electronic Distributor. Set on TDC. New Everything including Carbs. Engine has fired but wouldn't continue to run. Weak yellow spark at plug. Bench tested Coil 12v.(switched to 12 volt) 12volts on + to ground 2 volts on - to ground with key on. Battery fully charged Optima. Ground goes from battery terminal to chassis and to engine block under same bolt. Coil is 1.4 ohms as required by Mallory when using Unilite. No firewall resistor. Green wire to -, red wire to + and brown to ground. Pink 12v from key to coil stays 12v while in on position. Replacing coil tomorrow. Any thoughts. Other then Points.
