Water in oil after overheating

Coolant dripping from the crossover pipe mounting bolt to the left exhaust manifold. Blown head gasket? I hope that’s all it is. 33 sedan.

Do you have water in the oil ? If so I’d be leaning towards the 4 core plugs in the bottom of the block . They’re on the oil pan / block surface . Looking at that area you can see 4 bumps . Oil pan must be removed to R&R the core plugs ( Welch ) .

Sorry if confusing, no coffee yet .

I have a friend that had those plugs leak on his 21-stud engine. Hopefully that's all it is. Do some careful inspecting with a coolant pressure gauge to see where that coolant is coming from before you tear into it. Once you disturb the gaskets it could make it hard to find the leak. Do not use more than 4 lbs. of pressure to pressurize the system if it has an original radiator.

Ggmac, coolant was dripping from one of the bolts that connect the crossover pipe to the left exhaust manifold and I could see the water stains running back along the manifold.

Maybe a crack from that lower front head stud to the outer edge of the block down to the exhaust boss of the block? Similar to this type of crack , only deeper!!

I hope not Robert. It ran ok for thirty minutes in the morning after I initially added coolant and held water all day. The next morning was when it was a gallon low. When I added that gallon I saw the dripping out the bottom, later in the day the large puddle showed up on the floor.
