I need the name (and part number from Mikes) for the washer that that goes on the very outside of the rear axle. You would pull this and it's associated nut to remove the wheel.

If I understand the ask, I believe it is A-4244 for the gasket and the steel washer is A-4244-SW.

I bought hardened washers from the local Caterpillar dealer, quicker than ordering.

John - there is a series of shop drawings available from MAFCA showing exploded views of various assemblies, including part numbers, that you might want to get hold of to help answer questions like this.

Bratton's Catalog has/had exploded views of various assemblies along with hardware sizes. Another reason Bratton's will be sorely missed. Bratton's and MAC's has the best catalogs out there for the additional information they provided.

I just recieved some stuff from Brattons that I ordered,and interestingly enough,there was a new catalog in the box.Good way to get them out to people who might use them instead of throwing them in the scrap paper dumpster.Just opened the box this morning.Years ago Macs had good drawings in their catalogs too.Still have a few of those on the shelf along with my Ricks,PV Antique,A & L,and a few other catalogs and flyers.
