I am looking for a top loader three speed transmission (78-7006) for my 1940 Ford pickup truck.
I do not need a restored gearbox, but one that is in good working order
I can arrange a pickup at 2012 Hershey fall meet.
Thanks, Jorgen

Have very nice 39 Mercury(same thing). I have gone through it. It's all genuine Ford parts used in decent condition. The shifting tower and lever are exceptional. More information and pictures, if interested. $750. plus shipping to your choice of destination. Please respond to twinjoan@gmail.com .

Earlier response was for 39 transmission, also have 36-8 transmission which uses 78-case, essentially same condition as my other one, but a lot less money at $350.00 plus shipping. Elmer twinjoan@gmail.com
