Wanted: restorable 42-48 mercury caps

Hi,
Please specify what year you are looking for. 42's are unique, as are 46's, and I believe 47/48's are the same. Do you have a picture of which cap you want? Mercury caps are quite a bit rarer than the Fords but I do have some in my vast collection of stuff. Please post a picture or e-mail me at jen.toby@yahoo.com or phone me at 802-869-2688. You didn't answer my earlier post, but I'll try again. I have three of the 47/48 style Mercury caps with the black lettering and what looks like a white cloud surrounding the letters. Two of them are eminently restorable, the other one is badly damaged but could be saved (with a lot of work). I would like $70 plus shipping for the pair and I'll throw in the bad one. Some years ago Bob Drake had these in reproduction, he may still have some, did you try to contact him?
