Will look into. Been told today that the 32 cam is made of steel and has no bearings. The Green book doesn't say that, but does anyone know?

Yes 32 were steel and most 33 in canada. Same specs up to 32 blocks did not have cam bearings. David

1932 and 1933 blocks did not use cam bearings.

A true '32 block didn't have cam bearings. Cam bearings were a GREAT improvement.
I understand you want to restore your car to it's origional state. However I think it would make a much better, usable restoration to have the block machined to recieve '33-'53 cam bearings. For general purposes all the early cams were the same. Interchangable.
This will not change the apperance of the car, just improve it's reliability. Same for having the rotating assembly balanced.
