Wanted - gears

Hey Steve....rather than gears...I used one of those in line overdrives that are made out of a Borg Warner Overdrive....that lets you get the power out of your 3:78 gears and gives you a 30% OVERDRIVE (thats a bunch) plus it gives you freewheeling...that is really what I love....it takes all the buzz out as you slow down...it's more fun too...I found that the higher gear of the 3:54 gives you problems in the mountains...and long pulls... with the overdrive you can shift in and out...lots more fun... I made mine myself...pretty easy once you look at one close up...I have seen them used for as low as $350...

I agree that would be the Hot Ticket... and with the 5 speed isen't first gear lower than the Model A has ? and 5th must be an overdrive ratio... that would be ideal...
I would love to see it when you have er all hooked up that way...you obviously have more beans than the 40 original.
