I am looking for a 302 or 351 with an AOD transmission for my 51 Ford project car. I want the AOD to be non-computer controlled, something from 1987 /8/9 Ford or Mercury before they had the computer controls on the AOD. Call me or email with what you have. The AODE came in to being in '93, a 1987-92 is non computer for great info on AOD's check out www.clickclickracing.com it is a 90% AOD site.TV cable adjustment on an AOD is critical, to eliminate that problem and eliminate the need for a shift kit check out the new Constant Pressure valve body from TCI.

A guy up here has a 1983 econoline van with what he says is a 302 and AOD. Would that be right? Did they have the AOD in 1983???
