Wanted: 53-56 F250 frt backing plates

I'm looking for a pair of good usable frt backing plates to use on 37-48 spindles. I've been told that 53-56 3/4 ton will work but maybe you know others that will EX. 49-52 F2? Looking to go the Bendix route on the cheap. I know I can buy the complete assy. Pm what you have and want for them

The 53-56 Ford 3/4 ton backing plates are 12" self energizing. They are like the early lincoln brakes. You can use 37-48 drums on these backing plates when you use the 1-3/4" wide shoes. If you are looking for 1/2 ton backing plates I have several sets of 53-56 Ford. I also have several sets of 48-52 F-1 backing plates. These are all used on the 37-48 spindles.

I tried to use the 37-48 drums but they won't work with these plates, the outer diameter of the brake drum and the plates is the same so there is no overlap. Can be used with the buick finned drums. I have a set of the 12" off a 48-52 f2.
