Looking for a good solid tank for my early 31 coupe.
(this is NOT an indented firewall car)
...I have 3 requirements...
1) looking down inside the gas filler hole...it must have "screw threads" for the spark arrestor screen.
2) where the steering column bracket is riveted underneith, the tank bottom should be flat, not indented.
3) this steering bracket should have 4 rivets.
Surface rust, bumps, scrapes and old flaky paint is OK
No rust holes, soft spots or repairs please
Will consider a tank in BC or Washington (Vancouver Island would be ideal)
Paying cash or willing to trade a mid 30 gas tank, redi-stripped, sealed inside & epoxy primed.
