Wanted - parts for a 36 Phaeton - front seat frame or any seat parts, doors or body parts.
I am located in Australia but have a USA address in Cortez CO for shipping.

John is your phaeton an aussie car? I'm restoring a 35 phaeton. John if you click on this LBB website link you will see the download catalogue page. Download the catalogue and go to page 84. They have brand new wood kits and seat frames. Seat frames are pricey but you wouldn't make the wood kit for the prices they have. What pieces are you actually looking for? I am in Melbourne. My car is a basket case.
I have the centre door pillars but no front seat - I am under the impression that there is a steel front seat back section that ties the two pillars together - are you saying that this part is wood? Thanks from John
 
John: I have 2 mint Phaetons that I purchased from the original owner. One is 1935 the other is 1936. These are US produced cars and both have metal seat backs that tie the
 
John I can pt you onto someone who has two of the mintest rear doors I have seen ,and they have the center pillar attached,they are in the bay area,and with pleasanton good guys coming up getting stuff to melbourne shouldnt be to much of a hassle. Kiwi
 
I have two center door posts and the steelback back rest for the front seat for a '35 Phaeton. I want to sell the three piece set as a package. I'm not sure of the price so make an offer. Not sure how such a large item can be shipped. I can take pics of the parts and email them to you.

the seat frame is entirely wood with some flat pieces of sheet metal tacked into the back and a sheet metal piece from side to side along the bottom.

Hi John, this is correct above. I have photos of this somewhere, but RCR beat me to it. My car was a basket case also. I am basically only using the tub, b pillars , cowl and wscreen posts, 2 front doors, TOP IRONS, spare wheel bracket and 5 wheels off the original car. The rest was rusted too far gone, although near complete. Have you got pics of yours, I'll send you pics of mine and where I'm up to(although work stalled last year as I stripped my 35 roadster.
