Voltage regulator question

I have a NOS voltage regulator made in Canada Part numberLV/FD/CAN C11A 10505-C is it for a passanger
car or heavy duty truck generator?
 
It is simply the Canadian version of the passenger car regulator. The prefix "C" indicates Canadian. The suffix "C" indicates the design change / revision.
This particular regulator appears identical to the US counter-part with the exception of a Maple leaf stamped in to the cover.
