Visual differences between a 332 and 352. Any?

When looking at pics on the internet of an FE engine in a 59 Galaxie, are there visual differences between a 332 and a 352? My small amount of research tells me that a 332 in 59 was only available with a 2 bbl carb while the 352 came standard with a 4 bbl. But with the air cleaner installed, not easy to tell which carb is on the engine from a photo on a computer monitor.

But with 65 years since new that leaves lots of time for parts and engines to have been changed.
Engine block casting ID numbers may, or may not, help you.

I'm not sure, but I think the 332 and early 352 blocks are the same, either EDB or EDC casting #s. I heard or read someplace long ago that the biggest difference in them is the crankshaft and pistons. But someone else here may know more.

I've only seen one 332 in an old 58 Ford fordor sedan. The owner removed it and installed a later 390 to get the car moving better. A lot of 332s were junked so you don't see them much any more. The engine block was green and the air cleaner was white. That thing had solid adjustable tapets and a 4V carb. I believe it was a 265 HP set up. The Edsels used them too.

They have the same bore but a shorter stroke than the 352 of the 1958 T-Bird or 1959 cars. Those cranks are likely pretty rare these days.
