virus from ebay

there are alot of fake emails that look like they came from ebay - these have been around since the 90's...never open and just delete.

better off only goign to ebays website and seeing what your account is doing rather than trusting emails.

Yes to above, but no to virus from the site.

Get a MAC and you won't worry about that, and you can't get it from ebay...you get it from the net period..

I think I've picked up a variety of sicknesses from Ebay. The latest is causing me to buy old pocket knives.

I don't think you can get one from visiting eBay. Most people get a virus or malware. From downloading software from a third party site. I download a radio thing to try and listen to a football game at work. After that I had crap popping up all over the place.

I do this stuff for a job, as stated above NEVER click a link in an email. If you think you are immune from viruses & malware with a Mac or Linux, dream on, they don't suffer as much as PC's due to demographics but it can happen...

Someone did hack EBAY several weeks ago. You probably got a message from ebay asking you to change your password.
