Where is the VIN number located on 1962 Fairlane?

It's on the body tag [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]on the left front body pillar, between the front door hinges.[/FONT]

It's likely also stamped into sheet metal by itself in several places in the engine compartment. Ford did put body tags on the cowl area of the A pillar. They even put them on the doors on some cars in 1962.
