I have looked everywhere for a vin decoder online and havn't had any luck. I have a 1928 model a and there is a stamped number riveted to the floor board on the passenger side. Is this the VIN or is it the number on the engine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

My tag has; color AZ , Trim AT , Production code 7F858
What do they mean ?

Forgot to mention this is a 1955 Crown Victoria...
The car now is Raven Black with white vinyle and black cloth interior.

Run the VIN through the DMV that you think you have - If nothing comes up apply for a reconstructed vehicle VIN. As far as I know there is no definition of reconstructed - may be fender replacement? Answer to OP question.

You picture of your car looks like it is a Fordor sedan. That tag is a body tag telling you which company made it for Ford and its serial number. Can you post a picture?
