:( Looking for a Vickie header pan that goes over the windshield on the outside of the car. I believe it is different than the pan on the s/w town sedan.
Any condition. Can you help?
Thanks
David

I have one listed as Slant windshield / Victoria Header Cover here on FB with pictures. I bought this one and then decided to restore mine. Its not perfect and will need a bit more work but it is straight and solid.
When you are ready for a wood header give steve at classic wood a call. He has the pattern for a leatherback which is different than the steel body Victoria and his fit really well.

So far from responces I've had it seems that these pans are the same for Vickie or Town Sedan. That's a good thing. Still waiting for pics but hopefully they will confirm this. The pan that's in place is in good shape. The body and paint guy seems to think the windshield should somehow fit better, but without another Vickie to compare to it is hard to know.

a lot of times if someone has replaced the wood header they get it in wrong, most of the time it is to low and when you put the cover over it the cover ends up to low and the windshield will not fit right. over the years I have shorten a few windshield frames to make them fit on a finished cars for other guys. you ALLWAYS want to fit your frame in the opening before you go any further. a and make sure you put your rubber seal on top of the hinge. also put a gas cap on the tank the frame should clear the cap.

Thanks John for your insight. In this case the windshield is too high and doesn't come down far enough. We have taken photos of a friend's Vicky and compared to a s/w sedan to find there are different header pans. I'm waiting for these photos from my friend who took them today.

the header pans are all the same on the SW bodies. did you install the inside header molding it goes between the hinge and panel and the rubber seal over the hinge. it would real hard to make the opening to high. how tall is your windshield frame on the ends.
John
