Vendor Shock Absorbers

Just received my set of shock absorbers from Snyders. Up/down resistance function seems to work like it should, needle valve adjusts like it should, and you can refill them. Still on the bench, but I think I will like them on the car. No manufacturer data on the caps, but I'm most concerned about function for my driver.

I have been going back and forth between the Snyder's shock and the Bratton version.

I agree that function is more important than appearance for a driver.

I called Snyders and Tom said that they are rebuildable...

I also emailed Stipe again and they have not yet scheduled a production run....

I'd like to hear more on how your set from Snyder's works out for you..

I picked Snyder's because you can refill them if they start leaking a little. I'm usually happy with both Brattons and Snyders products, but tried Snyder's in this case. I drive a lot. I had some rebuilt originals and they started leaking and stopped working after 10,000 miles. Refilling didn't help. I guess the air vents are clogged. Will take them apart to investigate but squeaked out the $1k to get back on the road for now.

I think they are a good choice..

I have two cores that are maybe rebuildable and two that are definitely not....

I am going to call Robert Paul in Colorado if I can ever remember to do it during the day.

That is my last option before ordering from Snyders....
