Vaporization.
This term is not unique, but it applies to just about everybody working on their Model ‘A’ from above or below at some stage.
When working on the engine or under the car and you drop a small nut or bolt, it immediately vaporizes. This defies all the laws of physics. It is no use even trying to look for it, just go get another from the drawer. They must all vaporize into cyberspace, never to be seen again. I have even had small tools do it.
How many of you have had the same problem?

I have a lot that has vaporized.

Sometimes I think it is a space time worm hole they fall into cause they are found after you buy a replacement part.

I have a small piece of wood that is my current vaporization problem. Had 2 the same together and one is missing.

Happens to tools too, that's why I have 5 razor knives, 3 tape measures, ect.
Anything mechanical disappears when you need it and reappears after you buy the replacement

Ok why will nobody talk about the Knot Spiders that tie loose lines n wires n cords in all those things , are u fraid they will just git even if you talk about them??? Iam knot, soon as find out who tied my shoe laces together AGAIN !! I tell u all thy just dont exist i think? ernie n hotter n hell Tx

My vaporization problem is with 1/2 and 9/16" sockets and wrenches. I need a 1/2 socket but they all vaporized.....plenty of 9/16s tho. It works exactly in reverse when a 9/16 is needed. wrenches are especially bad about this.

I don't know about vaporization or spirits, but I have gremlins that hide tools, etc., that I am working with.
I will be sitting or laying, in one spot, and reach for a wrench, that I was just using and it will be GONE ! I will get up, search, cuss, and it is nowhere to be found ! It is really spooky, sometimes.
MIKE :)

My tools don't disappear; I can always see them, they are always just beyond my reach when I am holding a piece in place... they develop invisible legs and walk about a foot beyond your reach.

It Does not defy the laws of physics. Quantum theory allows for such things to happen.

How did "CLYDE," my red haired gremlin get from California to Florida that quick? Ask him if he still has my float pin that he stole day before yesterday!!
