We'd like to give everyone a heads-up that we are moving the site to a different server this weekend. The move may occur Thursday evening or Friday morning. Obviously, we hope that there will be no problems and it will be seamless to the users of the site. However, we will be monitoring the change and try to fix any glitches asap. You might experience loading issues for the webpages and images. If you see a problem you can try to reload the page. Thank you for your patience.

Our online sales store (vanpeltsalesstore.com) will continue to function as before since it is parked on a different server.
 
Just an update on the change….. move actually was made over this past weekend and appears to be working. You may find that some photo images are not working. Your computer’s memory is easily updated for the whole website…..from the homepage, click on the red button for the STORE. This will take you to the online store. Near the top of the store homepage is a link that shows “This link takes you to our technical website HERE”. Click on the link in the phrase and that will return you to the website…..updating your picture links automatically.

Sorry for the confusion and any issues that you encounter but we believe this should correct any problems you have. We’ve done extensive testing of the changes and we think it’s working as it should.

Hi Mac, site looks great and a great resource that I often use. One comment is that the link to transmissions is broken, leading to http://www.vanpeltsales.com/VPPSweb/VPPS-homepg.htm and "404", not found.

I got to the transmission parts sales from this link, http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/trans-partsprices-pg1.htm

There are numerous little errors and needed fixes that often pop up on websites of this size. The “Links” link page has not been updated for years and I really need to remove this link. There are some dead connections that will be fixed eventually. Everything else seems to be working well at this point.

Also tell your viewers that links and attachments from your original site can still be linked to their personal PC's memory.
To view a new updated site, such as what you are doing, it is best to clear one's PC cache.
This is the deleting of browsing data, then open the new link.
