Mine arrived yesterday, just in time for Fathers Day.
Hope everyone likes the full-color which is the new standard for the V-8 Times. We changed from only 32 pages of color, which created tons of layout issues, to color for every page. We also go rid of many pages of filler ads.

I'd like to veer off a little please...
I'd like to thank those that put the V8 Times together each month. I can only imagine the efforts required.
There seems to be a lot of complaining about delivery (that's on the postal service) and some about the content. That's on the membership, me included.
I enjoy sending letters with my responses to the editor for publication. The problem is that I rarely get any inquiries these days. For years, I'd get one, two or more per day.
Sadly, the hobby seems to be going the way we are...

Kube - Thanks for the recognition. Our editor does most of the work, but it's a team effort.
It seems that delivery issues are less these days. The postal system appears to be working better. Once the V-8 Times is released to the Post Office, delivery is totally in their hands.
We probably set unrealistic expectations by sending the V-8 Times to the printer in the second month of the two months listed on the cover. Lots of other magazines are printed far in advance of the month or date listed on the cover. I just received my May-June issue in mid-June. Some might consider that to be "late" but I think the cover date is rather arbitrary. Just my two cents on this issue.

While I belong to several national car clubs (including AACA) V-8 Times is absolutely the best of the publications. Keep up the good work
