V8 Price Guide / Feature Guide??

Howdy,

For years I have been a Model A enthusiast but now want to buy a roomier, more powerful Ford. I am seriously considering buying a Ford V8 Coupe. Are there any price guides that could help me with that quest?

Is there any guide/website that could help me understand the different features that are found in the various years?

As it stands now, it seems that an older, original restoration of a '36 to '38 Coupe would be great but I want to be sure. I need more information.

You might try www.earlyfordv8.org for the restorers guide books for the years you're interested in. Very informative and cover specific features and changes for each year.

Dick, thanks for the information on the Early Ford V8 Club. Great site. By the way, I live outside Bozeman. Heck, we're almost neighbors. There are Model A clubs in Missoula and Billings. Any early V8 clubs in the state?

go thru epay looking at the various years, etc....might give you an idea of what the cars look like....and hit the car shows, too....maybe some will let you sit in the car and give you a better idea of what fits you, etc....good luck and have fun....Mike
