"The Early Ford V8 as Henry Built It" - Edward Francis & George DeAngelis
This is a great book for the Early Ford V8 Enthusiast. Highly recommended.

I wish there was an instruction manual for correct sequence of assembly for these V8 cars. I installed an engine in a '34 before the steering box, and throttle bell crank on the firewall.! There is a correct sequence I missed. Cowl vent before the dash ect. Newc

I have three, one in the house, one at work and one in my shop so I don't have to walk up to the house!!!! Use them "almost" daily!!! I read them. look through them constantly and learn or see something of interest just about every single time.....I think the single best source of information there is....sans the few short comings of information that have surfaced occasionally!!!! Thankfully we have DavidG to help sort through those!!!

Newc,

Good point; a couple more of the etceteras for '32-'34s are: attach the left hand exhaust manifold before installing a V8 engine and also the starter motor (the latter isn't mandatory, but it is a lot easier to do while the engine is out of the vehicle), install the firewall pad before installing the cowl vent, and attach the glove box front tab to the cowl in a '32 deluxe coupe after the firewall pad, but before the dash.
