v8/60

Does anyone out there have experience with installing/removing valve guides [horse shoe clips] on a v8/60. Was there a tool for this? When using the tool for the 85hp the fork is to wide to catch the guide. I posted a wanted ad and have gotten any replies. Thanks

Not sure but, could you modify the 85HP tool so it fits the V8/60?

Are you talking about the All-Power tool that has the "Chinese finger" attachment to grab the tab and pull it out?

Would the KD "Pointed hook" tool work instead?

The tool I'm looking for pulls the guide down so the horseshoe clip can be put in
