V8 60 Flathead value

I was wondering if anyone knew what the value of a V8 60 (59a/b) Flathead would be, recent rebuild, runs and sounds good. And also I have the ****** and the whole front suspension. thanks

A V8-60 engine is a completely different engine than a 59 AB. A V8-60 is 60 HP and has 17 stud heads. A 59 AB is 100 HP and has 24 stud heads. This should help you visually determine what you have. Values will be different.

Sorry about that, the motor is a 59 A/B at least that is what's on the heads and they do have 24 studs, the truck has the V8 60 emblems.

On the other hand those V8-60 emblem are probably worth something, even if they are no longer correct, since they are not reproduced and some 60s are actually used in cars that could use them. Good Luck: Fred A

Nothing wrong with a little V8 60 engine. Rich Willim can tell you how to build them up to 100 hp. Also, I know a guy here in MD who built a very nice little Model A PU for his wife that has a great running little V8 60 in it.

I second that. The was a wanted ad (within the last 2 months) here or maybe at HAMB from someone desperate to find one. "my37ford" should look for the ad and/or post a for sale ad for the emblem.
