Should be intersting to find out...a '41 distributor or its advance will go right in, and of course the crab can be readily adapted and has that too. Generally, the early curves assume the availabbility of really bad gasoline and drivers that lugged in too high a gear, so more rapid advance tends to be helpful on modern gas and decent driving...though probably the 60 has to lug a bit with only a 3 speed.
On the carb...something I noticed recently is the end of the dyno curve published in the early service bulletins: On the 60, the curve is still RISING at the point they cut the chart off, whereas on bigger stockers it is DROPPING at the end of the curve and they have obviously gone past peak. So...it looks like 60 even stock has better breathing, AND that they could have picked a bigger number than 60 off of their own test had they chosen a wider sheet of graph paper...??
