Utah Generator/Starter rebuild

Looking for a Generator/Starter rebuilder in Northern Utah we used to have a shop called Chic Armature here in Ogden, but since they closed seems like its just buy new or try and recondition them yourself.
thanks for any info!
 
There are very few places remaining who are experienced in old Ford generators, competent and have the parts in stock. I'm retired, but restore Ford generators (but not starters) on the side. Glad to help if I can. Many here have used my services.

Yes, that is a problem for us in northern Utah. I used Chic a couple times. Since he is no more I've used a guy on Ebay called "ford-sparky." He's out of Laramie, WY. I have dealt with him outside of Ebay as well. I've been pleased. I'm pretty sure he does generators and starters.
